Dieter Krone has been Lord Mayor of the town of Lingen (Ems) since 2010. The Lord Mayor is the highest political representative of the town and the head of the town’s administration. He represents the town in legal and administrative transactions and in court proceedings. As head of the administration, all town civil service employees report to him.
