Das Emslandmuseum is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm and by appointment.

The museum is closed on the following dates:

• January 1 (New Year's Day)
• Easter (Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday)
• 1. May Christian Ascension Day
• Pentecost (1st and 2nd Holidays)
• 3. October (Day of German Unity)
• 31. October (Reformation Day)
• Christmas (1st and 2nd public holidays)
